[It's not until Katsuki brings that up that the wheels start turning in Yoosung's head and he realizes... He talks to Rika about Katsuki. She knows he writes in his journal about him too. She understands. This was definitely not a mistake.
Yoosung squeaks, and pulls Rika aside, kneeling to speak to her.]
You need to be good or I'll have to keep you in your PokeBall whenever Katsuki is here! Okay? Please?
[Nothing to see here, just a man pleading with his Meowth.
She pouts at him, but then jumps on the counter to grab the journal and scampers off to return it to wherever she found it. Yoosung sighs in relief and heads to the cutting board again to resume chopping veggies.]
[Katsuki glances up at the squeak, watching Yoosung pull Rika aside. But he's not really interested in what he might be saying to her. Instead he finishes chopping things and starts the actual cooking. Waiting for Yoosung to finish and join him.
When he does, Katsuki looks over his shoulder at him.]
[Yoosung pays close attention, determined enough to make Katsuki proud that he powers through any distraction by his presence or proximity, taking in the movements.
[He shifts over to take the wok, and after a few seconds of silently psyching himself up, he tilts the wok to move the contents, then flicks his wrist to do the flip, being extra careful not to do it too hard.
The first attempt just sort of makes it jump, but he does a second attempt right after that succeeds, and he turns his head to grin brightly at Katsuki.]
[The look Katsuki gives him absolutely takes his breath away, and he blushes hard both at that and the compliment before he looks back to the wok and laughs a little, shifting the contents of the wok around.]
Hee, you think so? Or maybe you're just a really good teacher, oppa~
[He can't resist throwing one more oppa out there, even if Katsuki doesn't get it.
...maybe he should make him watch a kdrama with him sometime.]
[Seriously. There he goes with the 'Oppa' again. Katsuki can't shake the feeling he's being picked on... messed with in some way.]
I'm the best teacher, actually.
[Until he knows what it means, he'll just... pretend he isn't even hearing it.]
I do tutoring sometimes. Got a kid who should be starting back up here next month who I've been helping since I came to Kaisou. And I've been teaching someone some basic computer shit to repay a favor.
[Flirted with, Katsuki. Even though guys really don't call other guys "oppa." Still. How can he not when he's currently in a cheerleader skirt?
Yoosung looks interested when he mentions the tutoring.]
You do? I guess we don't talk about school much, huh? It is coming up again soon... [A fact he's not super happy about.] What kinda subjects are you interested in?
Mm, yeah, I guess... Hopefully it's enough to motivate me, haha.
[His eyes widen a little when Katsuki mentions the Libra app.]
Ah, you did? That's really cool! Even if it didn't work... Maybe it's kind of supernatural itself, you know?
[He looks to the ceiling as he thinks, recalling some of the visions he's had so far.]
But I think my other me had a friend who did the same kind of thing... He might have been other me's best friend? I see visions of him a lot. He had red hair and gold eyes, so opposite of you!
Well... He called himself 707, but I think I just called him Seven. He said he liked to tease me because I'm cute! He played pranks on me a lot, but my other me didn't seem to really mind much. He had a lot of cars and called them his babies. And we played video games together a lot and he always beat me at them.
[He rattles off the list of things he can remember from his visions so far.]
Mm, I think maybe he also likes to fish? Oh!! And he wears these really unique yellow and black striped glasses.
[A guy who liked teasing him because he's cute... he gets a weird feeling he can't quite put a name to hearing that. Get it together, Katsuki. You're talking about a guy Yoosung doesn't really know. Some kind of memory from another world or life or something...]
So no matter what you like being teased, huh?
[Because before, when they were watching tv together, Yoosung had said something that Katsuki had never responded to. Maybe...]
...I wouldn't mind it if you liked me teasing you the most.
[Yoosung's not entirely sure what just happened but it feels like it was a good thing. His heart seems to agree.
After he's put food down for Hana and Rika, he grabs some plates and utensils for him and Katsuki and starts setting the table, feeling like he should make it look nice. He uses the cloth napkins his mother had given him that he's never used before because he never has guests eating with him, putting them in their little napkin rings and everything.
He can't stop blushing.
Rika eyes them both as she picks up her bowl of pokéchow and takes it with her out of the kitchen. She clearly shakes her head as she leaves and Yoosung frowns curiously at her retreating back.]
[Rude, Rika! They're making progress! But Katsuki misses her disapproval. She's already gone by the time he shuts off the stove eye and turns around to bring the wok closer to the table. Serving them straight from the wok. Good and hot.
Then he's taking the wok back over to sit it on one of the eyes that hadn't been in use. They can put up the leftovers when they're done eating.
He joins Yoosung at the table to eat and that's when he notices the napkins in their little holders. He glances at Yoosung, an eyebrow raised. But he doesn't actually ask. Instead he picks up a fork and starts eating.
Okay. Hard to say if this is for him or just how Yoosung does things. He is from a rich family after all...]
[That questioning, raised eyebrow earns another blush, and Yoosung feels a little self-conscious about the napkins now. He pretends they aren't there as he digs in to some of the food with his own fork.]
Mm, it's really good! You're really a good cook, Katsuki!

[He pretty much just thinks Rika was giving Yoosung a hard time.
He heads over to start heating the wok. He wants it good and hot before he even adds anything.]

C'mere.
no subject
He's blushing just a little as he nods silently and moves over to where Katsuki is, standing close.]
no subject
[He tilts the wok, the contents sliding a bit to that side.]
And then it's just a flick of the wrist to bring them up and back.
[He demonstrates with careful, practiced ease. Trying to do it slow enough that Yoosung can follow the movement.]
Up and back. Up and back. Not too hard or you'll fling 'em onto yourself and the floor.
no subject
He continues to nod at what Katsuki tells him.]
Mm. You're really good at that!

Ah!! I did it!!

Yoosung is adorable. Getting so excited. What's he supposed to do with these dumb, soft feelings anyway?]
Heh. Look at you. A natural.
no subject
Hee, you think so? Or maybe you're just a really good teacher, oppa~

You do? I guess we don't talk about school much, huh? It is coming up again soon... [A fact he's not super happy about.] What kinda subjects are you interested in?
no subject
I've been majoring in cyber security. So a lot of my classes are related to that. But there isn't really anything I dislike?
[He is a nerd, Yoosung. A buff, angry nerd with the look of a bad boy.]
You said you're thinking of doing veterinarian work now but what were you leaning towards before?
no subject
[He's never really given much thought to something like Cyber Security. He wonders if that has anything to do with computer hacking.]
Ummm... Nothing? I was kinda just coasting by on whatever... Well, and failing at it...
[He sounds embarrassed and a little self-deprecating, as he moves aside to let Katsuki take over the cooking again.]
Is cyber security like hacking?
no subject
[Katsuki steps back up to take over. Snorting at the question.]
Nah. It's preventing that kind of shit. But you kind of gotta know how it works to prevent it.
[A pause.]
Tried to hack into the Libra app but it didn't work.

[His eyes widen a little when Katsuki mentions the Libra app.]

[He listens to Yoosung talk about the memories, curious.]
Yeah? What kind of stuff did you remember?
no subject
[He rattles off the list of things he can remember from his visions so far.]
Mm, I think maybe he also likes to fish? Oh!! And he wears these really unique yellow and black striped glasses.

Well... I already kinda said I do...
[At least, saying that he wants Katsuki to like teasing him the most implies the other way around too, right? He thinks so, anyway.
He kneels down to pet Hana as she comes trotting in, announcing her arrival with a sweet little trill.]
no subject
He focuses on the food while Yoosung gives Hana some attention.]
Wanna grab some plates? This is just about ready.
no subject

[I mean... Yoosung chopped things and did a little flipping in the wok. But it counts.]
Anyway... been thinking. I should have some free time next month. If you want to do some training.
