[Yoosung's not entirely sure what just happened but it feels like it was a good thing. His heart seems to agree.
After he's put food down for Hana and Rika, he grabs some plates and utensils for him and Katsuki and starts setting the table, feeling like he should make it look nice. He uses the cloth napkins his mother had given him that he's never used before because he never has guests eating with him, putting them in their little napkin rings and everything.
He can't stop blushing.
Rika eyes them both as she picks up her bowl of pokéchow and takes it with her out of the kitchen. She clearly shakes her head as she leaves and Yoosung frowns curiously at her retreating back.]
[Rude, Rika! They're making progress! But Katsuki misses her disapproval. She's already gone by the time he shuts off the stove eye and turns around to bring the wok closer to the table. Serving them straight from the wok. Good and hot.
Then he's taking the wok back over to sit it on one of the eyes that hadn't been in use. They can put up the leftovers when they're done eating.
He joins Yoosung at the table to eat and that's when he notices the napkins in their little holders. He glances at Yoosung, an eyebrow raised. But he doesn't actually ask. Instead he picks up a fork and starts eating.
Okay. Hard to say if this is for him or just how Yoosung does things. He is from a rich family after all...]
[That questioning, raised eyebrow earns another blush, and Yoosung feels a little self-conscious about the napkins now. He pretends they aren't there as he digs in to some of the food with his own fork.]
Mm, it's really good! You're really a good cook, Katsuki!
[They cooked together but Yoosung knows his contribution didn't contribute to flavor! That was all Katsuki and the sauce. But he's not going to argue when he can continue enjoying the food instead.]
Yeah... That's probably a good idea. Is there anything special I need to do or get in order to prepare for that...? What kind of clothes should I wear?
[Classes will be starting up next month too, of course, but hopefully they'll still have time.]
Something comfortable and practical. Same stuff you'd wear to the gym or to do yoga or whatever would be good.
[Classes are indeed about to start back up. Katsuki still doesn't know what to do there... if he should switch majors. But what to? The things he feels he should be doing... there's no courses for that. No career track that he can think of that feels right.
But whatever he chooses he knows he'll have free time. Because he's dropped activities he was doing in his free time last semester... he's been spending a ridiculous amount of time here this month.]
Be prepared to get bruised up a bit too. Nature of the activity.
Ah... I don't really do either of those things. But I can buy some new clothes! So it's no problem. And I don't mind bruises...

[A new outfit to spend time with him...? There's a thought. He probably shouldn't think too hard on that one. It's not like he's buying a new outfit to go to dinner or a movie.
[Katsuki squints at him suspiciously. Why so happy about that?? Does Yoosung not believe him or...
...Does... does he want Katsuki to benchpress him?? Would that... impress him? He's gonna chew on that while he eats. Maybe this upcoming training is an opportunity?
When he's done eating, he gets up and goes to clean up his dishes and put away the leftovers. Taking a moment to look at the clock. He's still got time.]
[While Yoosung does have an automatic dishwasher, Katsuki had just sort of started without asking about it, sooo... This is fine. It's pretty nice, actually.]
Is that fair? They're my games, so I might have more experience playing them~
Sure! I can do that. Mm, we can play a racing game, or a fighting game...
[He'll start describing some of the ones he has while they finish with the dishes.
He's not even sure what he'll ask for as a reward if he wins. He's definitely not ready to ask for a kiss and risk running his closest friend off! And asking for a hug might seem weird as a reward, but they could probably laugh it off pretty easily?]
[Katsuki has no idea what to ask for if he wins. He's just having fun. But he picks out a racing game. Something lighthearted they can have fun with.
Once everything is put away, Katsuki settles in with him to play the game. Just relaxing and enjoying himself. He taunts Yoosung every time he's in the lead and mock-threatens every time Yoosung overtakes him. By the end of the fourth game it's two to two.]
This is it. Get ready to go down! I'm gonna kick your ass!
[Perhaps surprisingly considering the game he's most addicted to being competitive, Yoosung himself is not aggressively competitive.
He's relaxing and enjoying himself too, over-dramatically whining whenever he's losing and Katsuki taunts him, but he cheers and takes the mock-threats in the same spirit that they're given, often snickering at them whenever he takes the lead.
By the time they're all tied up and on their final game, Yoosung concentrates hard, tongue between his lips as he focuses in on the screen silently, taking this one very seriously.
He immediately jumps up from his sitting position the instant he's the first through the final finish line, arms in the air though still silent even as he's grinning. He's not trying to rub the loss in Katsuki's face, but he is clearly excited about his win.]
