Anything in those memories of yours to suggest the other you could do something like that?
[The end of the question is punctuated with a yawn. Yoosung might not have to discuss it much longer. The adrenaline is finally fully wearing off. So as curious as he is, he may end up crashing on Yoosung's couch for a little while.]
[He takes notice of Katsuki's yawn, and quickly finishes the cleaning and dabbing dry so he can add the ointment to the scrapes.]
Not really... He seems like a pretty ordinary guy just like me? I think we even played similar video games. He just had different people in his life...
[He adds the bandages next, his gaze and small smile even softer than he means for them to be.]
You're tired, huh? Rest here if you want, I'll grab a pillow and a blanket for you.
[Oh. "Bright Eyes." He'd called him that before, he's just now remembering... When he'd first woken up in the grocery store. And Katsuki had been there. It's not a nickname he would have expected from someone like Katsuki, but maybe that's because he's taking it the wrong way? Maybe he means it as a tease instead of an endearment, but it still hits a little funny...
Yoosung turns away quickly with the ice pack so Katsuki doesn't see him get flustered at the nickname. He hurries to put the pack away, and returns with the pillow and blanket. His blush has (mostly) calmed down by then.]
Just let me know if you need anything, I'm down the hall.
[He lets him know this quietly as he goes for the lights, as Hana jumps on top of the back of the couch to curl up there, as if it keep a watchful eye on Katsuki for him.]
[After that, Yoosung goes through his own nightly routine and heads to bed.
In the morning, he gets up early(ish) and starts making breakfast. Both the cat and cat pokemon are already being fed in the kitchen, peacefully cohabitating their room with their owner. Yoosung himself is dressed, complete with apron, and cooking bacon in a pan.
He's not sure what today wil bring, but he imagines they're both gonna need energy and strength, so a good breakfast should help. He's also hoping the smell of the food will wake Katsuki so he doesn't have to, but that's up in the air at the moment.]
[Katsuki is a little confused when he first wakes up. The smell of food rousing him is an unfamiliar experience. He hasn't woken up like this since he lived with his parents. This also very clearly isn't his dorm room.
Once he remembers where he is, he gets up and follows the smell of cooking bacon. Wandering into the kitchen.]
[At the sound of Katsuki's voice, Yoosung looks up from the pan and gives him a bright smile.]
Yeah! Good morning~ I know we both probably have a lot to do today so we'll need the energy... Um, how do you like your eggs? Do you want any coffee?
[Hana rubs against Katsuki's leg on her way out of the kitchen, apparently finished with her breakfast. Yoosung's Meowth, on the other hand, is sitting at the table eating something out of a bowl with her paws. She gives Katsuki a contemplative look, like she's studying him as she chews.]
[...Too much sunshine first thing in the morning. He needs a few minutes to wake up before he can handle that. But he moves to the kitchen table to sit and wait for breakfast.]
Omelet. No coffee. Got any juice?
[He catches the Meowth watching him and starts a staring contest. Don't mind him. He did the same to Julian, August's shadow bird.]
[Poor Katsuki, assaulted by Yoosung's sunshine so early in the day. At least he can distract himself by getting into a staring contest with Rika. For her part, she just stares right back, still eating slowly like she isn't even fazed.]
Yeah, I've got juice~
[He takes the cooked bacon out of the pan and puts it on a plate, then heads to the fridge to grab a juice carton and then a glass from a cabinet. He sets both on the table by Katsuki, preparing to head back to the pan, but then pauses as he realizes.]
...are you having a staring contest with my Meowth?
[He doesn't look up as he says this. Still maintaining eye contact. He doesn't even have anything against Rika. He's just doing it because she was watching him. That's it. That's the reason.]
[Yoosung looks between the two of them a few times, both parties unblinking, and then sighs. He walks away, shaking his head as he returns to cooking breakfast for the two humans.
[The Meowth smugly continues eating, while Yoosung grabs another pan to make the omelet in, juggling that and cooking more bacon in the other.]
Yup! My father's secretary called me already this morning. They want me to help with their fundraising, so I'm gonna be doing that, and handing out emergency necessity kits to anyone who needs them.
[Disaster struck the city and Yoosung was contacted by his father's secretary instead of his actual family. That probably says a lot.
Yoosung cries out in pain suddenly as a quick movement results in bacon grease burning his hand.
Rika looks concerned but slightly panicked, shooting a wide-eyed startled expression to Katsuki as she pauses eating.]
[Katsuki doesn't have much time to consider that information, Yoosung's yelp of pain drawing his attention. He can immediately guess what happened. Setting the juice back down he comes over.]
Pay attention to what you're doing, dumbass.
[He grabs both pans and sets them on the back burners before grabbing Yoosung's wrist and tugging him toward the sink. Turning on cold water, he guides Yoosung's hand under the spray.]
Let that run for a few minutes.
[And then, leaving Yoosung to handle it, he moves to the stove, shifting the pans back over the heat and taking over the cooking.]
[Usually when Yoosung hurts himself while cooking, it's because he's just spacing out. This time it was more because he had been thinking about his family.
He does know what to do for this, so he's not expecting Katsuki to jump in so quickly and pull him to the sink himself. He probably hesitated too long so that's what prompted the quick action, but still. It means he cares, right? Between this and yesterday... His heart is getting ahead of itself and it's kind of distressing, actually, because Katsuki's his first like actual friend in a while, someone he considers more than an acquaintance. He doesn't want his own dumb feelings to mess that up.
He isn't really fazed by the name-calling. It seems like that's just Katsuki's style. It only bothers him that Katsuki has to take over the cooking while he stands here at the running faucet like an idiot. He'd wanted to do something for Katsuki, because he'd worked himself so hard yesterday to help protect people, and was probably going back out there again today. And Yoosung had failed at this.
As he glances over to watch Katsuki though, he notices some of the bruises and such that he'd helped with yesterday aren't there anymore. That's... Kind of unusually fast healing, isn't it?]
...Thank you. Um... Are you still in any pain from yesterday?
[Katsuki doesn't seem to mind taking over. He's pretty good in the kitchen. Actually he's kind of stupidly good at lots of things. It's mildly infuriating, honestly. But it's because he believes anything worth doing is worth doing right.]
Not really.
[He answers without hesitation, not taking his attention off what he's doing.]
I should be fine to head back out after breakfast. But I don't think we'll have much fighting to do today. Probably gonna mostly be cleanup.
[As he's waiting for the pain in his hand to subside so he can stop standing at the sink, he watches Katsuki as he cooks.]
You heal really fast, huh? That's impressive... Um, sorry I'm making you do the cooking when you're my guest...
[Talking about healing gets him thinking about what happened yesterday. He wishes he knew how it happened, what this power was from and how to control it. Obviously it wasn't just healing whenever he wanted to heal, otherwise he would be able to take care of this burn just like that.]
[It's kind of amazing how instantly Yoosung's waning mood is lifted again just by watching Katsuki show off his cooking skills. His little frown pulls into a big smile, and there's a blush on his cheeks.]
Wow! That was amazing! I've never been able to do that.
[He pulls his hand from the water and dries it carefully before going to the first aid kit still on the counter from where he'd moved it last night. As he rummages for bandages with one hand, he still gets a clear view of Katsuki cooking.]
[He flashes Yoosung a grin. Taking note of that big smile. Getting so excited about that... Katsuki kind of wants to show off more now. Get his attention. He's not sure why that is.]
Lately? Not too much. Dorm kitchen sucks. Used to do it a lot back home though. The old hag can't cook worth a shit. So I'd get roped into helping my old man.
Yoosung makes himself look away to get the bandages out and starts wrapping his hand as best he can. Thankfully it's not a large area at all that got burned.]
We usually had kitchen staff back home who cooked for us, but sometimes I'd sneak into the kitchens and watch them or help out... It's more fun to do with other people than by yourself, I think.
[He glances back up.]
Um, if you'd like, you're free to use my kitchen whenever you want!
[Maybe it's a good thing Katsuki's attention shifted away from Yoosung and back to the food, because Yoosung's face is a little redder. He fidgets with the first aid kit a bit.]
Y-you don't have to do that! You could just cook for yourself, or anyone, but um... I wouldn't mind having you over for meals whenever you wanted... W-we could... Cook together, even... I'd like that...
[Ah... Is he showing too much of his developing feelings like this? Surely friends can do this sort of thing too, though. It's just an activity to do together, hanging out and cooking and eating.]

He knows why. But it's easy enough to brush off.]
Yeah. More magic bullshit.
[He picks up the pan with the omelet and smoothly flips it in the pan in one fluid motion, getting a perfect fold. Clearly a practiced move.]
Consider it thanks for the first aid and letting me crash here last night.
