[It's kind of amazing how instantly Yoosung's waning mood is lifted again just by watching Katsuki show off his cooking skills. His little frown pulls into a big smile, and there's a blush on his cheeks.]
Wow! That was amazing! I've never been able to do that.
[He pulls his hand from the water and dries it carefully before going to the first aid kit still on the counter from where he'd moved it last night. As he rummages for bandages with one hand, he still gets a clear view of Katsuki cooking.]
[He flashes Yoosung a grin. Taking note of that big smile. Getting so excited about that... Katsuki kind of wants to show off more now. Get his attention. He's not sure why that is.]
Lately? Not too much. Dorm kitchen sucks. Used to do it a lot back home though. The old hag can't cook worth a shit. So I'd get roped into helping my old man.
Yoosung makes himself look away to get the bandages out and starts wrapping his hand as best he can. Thankfully it's not a large area at all that got burned.]
We usually had kitchen staff back home who cooked for us, but sometimes I'd sneak into the kitchens and watch them or help out... It's more fun to do with other people than by yourself, I think.
[He glances back up.]
Um, if you'd like, you're free to use my kitchen whenever you want!
[Maybe it's a good thing Katsuki's attention shifted away from Yoosung and back to the food, because Yoosung's face is a little redder. He fidgets with the first aid kit a bit.]
Y-you don't have to do that! You could just cook for yourself, or anyone, but um... I wouldn't mind having you over for meals whenever you wanted... W-we could... Cook together, even... I'd like that...
[Ah... Is he showing too much of his developing feelings like this? Surely friends can do this sort of thing too, though. It's just an activity to do together, hanging out and cooking and eating.]

[Katsuki admitting he was teasing him makes Yoosung smile again, and he grabs a second glass before following him over to the table, which his Meowth appears to have vacated. He carefully pours himself some juice, mindful of his injury.]
[He likes that. He also likes that Yoosung doesn't take it to heart or get mad at him for it. That's... nice. He wants to see how much he can get away with...]
[Yoosung gets this little flash in his head of hearing that from someone else. Red hair, gold eyes... Kind of the opposite configuration of Katsuki, then. Glasses, too. He's seen him in a couple flashes now, and when he saw that chat... Gah, he can't think of the name, and now the flash is gone. Oh well.
He shrugs and picks up a piece of bacon to bite, figuring he deserves the revenge against it since it burned him.]
I don't mind~ And... Yeah, I kinda wonder how many dinos there ended up being total? So crazy!
[It's not that he's keeping it a secret? He just didn't feel it was important enough to share. So his other life him had friends that liked to tease him? That's not like a life-changing memory or anything, at least not when it's about people he's never even met!

Though he does steal glimpses at Katsuki occasionally. It's kind of nice eating breakfast with someone else like this? It's been a while since he's done that.]

[In his experience, people usually do the Bare Minimum to keep up a friendship or even family relationship with him, so...]
[He goes back to eating, concentrating on his food again, unsure what else to say to that. It would probably be seen as weird or annoying now if he apologized for thanking him when he wasn't supposed to thank him...?
Why has it always been so difficult for him to make friends before? Or lasting friends, anyway. The money, maybe. Maybe something in his personality too. He can only hope he can keep Katsuki as a friend and not wreck this.]
[It's a pretty quiet meal after that. Katsuki is perfectly comfortable eating in silence and doesn't really think much of it. When they're done he takes his dishes to the sink and cleans them up. On his way to the living room to collect his boots he stops by Yoosung, hand dropping atop his head so he can ruffle his hair, messing it up.]

[The instant Katsuki's hand is in his hair, however brief, Yoosung's heart does a stupid little flip in his chest and he has to hide a small blush behind his juice glass. For now he just leaves his hair ruffled like that.]
